Steri Tours started in 2020 from a desire to redefine travel in Kenya to a force for positive change and genuine human connection.
During my 12+ years career in the Development and Humanitarian sector, I traveled extensively and interacted with communities across my country. I saw the extreme differences in life quality between popular tourist destinations and the local communities, which deeply affected me.
How come these places were thriving, while locals didn’t benefit from it?
This inspired me to create Steri Tours. Not just as a travel company, but as a way to support economic empowerment and cultural preservation in Kenya.
To connect people, inspire cultural exchange, make an impact, and create opportunities for local communities through sustainable tourism and unique experiences.
