Laikipia is one of my favorite destinations in Kenya. I studied and got my first job here, so it will always be special to me.

Laikipia can be visited throughout the year, though from April to July, it’s wetter and greener, making the landscape especially beautiful.
It has a reputation for less crowded safaris, where you might be the only vehicle in the conservancy.
